Dr. Susan P. James is a biomedical engineer, inventor, and founder translating advanced materials science into next-generation blood-compatible implantable technologies. A professor at Colorado State University with more than 30 years of active research in polymer science, she has built a strong track record of innovation, IP generation, and commercialization in orthopedic and cardiovascular applications. She holds 21+ issued U.S. and international patents covering polymeric, hemocompatible biomaterials and long-term implant platforms.
